Blackpool's Sandcastle Waterpark, renowned as the United Kingdom's largest indoor waterpark, has commenced a significant £500,000 refurbishment project. This extensive renovation is strategically timed to coincide with the waterpark's 40th anniversary, marking a milestone in its history of providing aquatic entertainment.

Upgrading changing room facilities is a primary focus, with phase one of the changing village refurbishment already completed. Additionally, the refurbishment includes painting the water slides to refresh their appearance and installing new audio systems throughout the facility.
