If there is one thing the United Kingdom truly adores, it is an Irish bar or pub. Happily, now you can embark on the ultimate crawl across the Emerald Isle. The answer to every pub-goer's prayers has arrived in the form of a pub crawl along Ireland's breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way, minus all the walking in between.
The Dingle Express: A Unique Experience
This crawl, aptly named The Dingle Express, offers participants the chance to visit five beautiful and well-known Irish pubs across 80 kilometres of the Wild Kerry coastline. A pint of Guinness is included at every stop. The bus is yours for an entire eight hours, allowing you to take as much or as little time as you wish, exploring the quaint pubs on offer at each location.
Journey Details
The adventure begins at approximately 9:00 am at Farranfore Airport, or alternatively at Killarney town centre if that is more convenient. A guide will pick you up in a state-of-the-art 20-seater bus, which some punters have described as 'looking like a spaceship.' The bus includes a private driver for the day, ensuring that nobody has to stay sober except the driver.
From there, the bus takes you on an unforgettable journey along four miles of coastline, making the first stop in Inch. After enjoying a pint or two, you will head back on the bus, ready for Annascaul, Ventry, and then Dún Chaoin – the most westerly point of Ireland. Eventually, you will end up at the final stop in Dingle Town, renowned across Ireland for its pubs.
Inclusions and Pricing
Included in the hiring price is traditional Irish food, consisting of cosy soups and sandwiches, as well as plenty of pub grub. The price of a pint at each stop is also part of the hire.
Online Buzz
A recent TikTok video of the crawl, calling it 'the greatest Irish pub crawl that you've never heard of,' has gained significant attention online. One commenter wrote: 'I need this trip in my life!' while another shared: '100% want to do this.' A further comment read: 'You don’t have to keep selling me, you had me at Dingle.'
Group Bookings
The tour is designed for private groups, meaning 'Anyone who loves a great day out, brilliant pints, and a slice of real Ireland.' Birthday parties, hen dos, stag dos, and sports teams are all welcome. Interested parties should send a preferred date and inquiry to The Dingle Express team to find out exact prices and availability. Due to high interest, The Dingle Express is also considering hosting a group of solo travellers who wish to explore the Wild Atlantic Way and Irish pub culture together.
