A three-year-old British girl has tragically died in hospital after being found floating face-down by her parents at a holiday villa pool in Pollensa, Mallorca. The incident occurred at around 8pm on Wednesday at the family's rented four-bed villa in northern Mallorca.
Rescue and Hospitalisation
The little girl was rescued from the water by her parents after she was discovered by the poolside. Paramedics arrived and were able to revive her by administering CPR at the scene. However, she was reported to be in very serious condition upon admission to Son Espases Hospital in the Majorcan capital Palma, with a very weak pulse.
Death Confirmed
Overnight, it emerged that the child had lost her fight for life. She is understood to have passed away last night. The cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed, but the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
