Reality TV Star Jordan Brook Hospitalised with Brain Inflammation
Jordan Brook, the TOWIE star and boyfriend of pregnant Geordie Shore personality Sophie Kasaei, remains hospitalised with confirmed inflammation and swelling of the brain, with both partners describing the situation as a "never-ending hell" and "nightmare." The 31-year-old reality television personality has been sharing updates from his hospital bed while his 36-year-old girlfriend keeps fans informed about his condition.
Social Media Updates Reveal Serious Health Crisis
Brook took to Instagram to share his distressing situation, posting: "Another day in paradise. Praying for a better one or some sort of miracle!" In subsequent updates, he revealed: "Unfortunately this is still the view for me. This seems to be a never ending hell at moment. I'm awaiting results from a procedure once we get them more will be cleared up - what we do know is I have confirmed inflammation and swelling of the brain."
The reality star expressed his frustration with the ongoing medical uncertainty, adding: "A really scary time that reassures you we are all human. Hoping to rest up and be fighting fit and back home with my girl and bump, soon but at the minute seems a long way off."
Sophie Kasaei's Emotional Updates During Pregnancy
Kasaei, who is currently pregnant with their child, has been providing regular updates about Brook's condition while explaining her limited ability to visit him in person. She stated: "Jordan is still in the hospital and we are still waiting for answers whilst he is getting treatment and medication. If people are trying to contact him he's unable to use his phone at the moment as he's in pain and is mostly sleeping."
The Geordie Shore star revealed the difficult family dynamics during this health crisis, explaining: "His family are there with him doing a great job as it's too risky for me and baby. He will be there for the next few days and hopefully be on the mend and back home to me and bump very soon."
Weekend Hospital Admission and Ongoing Treatment
The health emergency began over the weekend when Brook was rushed to hospital with what has since been confirmed as swelling on the brain. Kasaei described the experience as "a worrying few days/week" and told fans: "Jordan has been rushed into hospital and has been there for a few days now. We're currently waiting on tests, scans and answers from the doctors, and hoping we'll know more soon."
She emotionally added: "As you can imagine this feels like a nightmare to me but we're hopeful that he'll be on the mend and back to himself soon. Jordan appreciates everyone's patience while he focuses on getting better."
Relationship Background and Public Concern
The couple, who have been dating for nearly three years and have appeared together on The Only Way Is Essex, have received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow reality television personalities. Brook acknowledged this support in his social media posts, stating: "Thank you for everyone's continued messages of love and support. I'm sorry I haven't got back to everyone I have been extremely weak."
The TOWIE star also addressed professional commitments affected by his hospitalisation, saying: "I also apologise to any work clients, hate letting people down I will be back as soon as I can." Medical professionals continue to monitor Brook's condition while conducting tests and procedures to determine the cause and appropriate treatment for the brain inflammation.
