Justin and Hailey Bieber Celebrate Mother's Day at Nobu

Justin Bieber, 32, and his wife Hailey, 29, celebrated Mother's Day with a dinner at Nobu Malibu on Sunday. The Baby hitmaker and the model were pictured leaving the celebrity hotspot in Los Angeles together, after Hailey shared sweet snaps of their son Jack Blues, 20 months, on her Instagram.

The singer opted for a very dressed-down look, wearing a casual grey hoodie and scruffy facial hair. Meanwhile, Hailey showed off her enviable physique in a tan top and black leggings, which she paired with heels and a cream purse.

Justin did not mark the occasion on his social media, after he caused controversy the year prior for a post that said, 'Love u moms but mothers day sucks a**' for Hailey's first Mother's Day. However, Hailey commemorated her second year as a mom with three sweet snaps on her Instagram Stories. One was a black-and-white photo of her holding little Jack, with the caption, 'I love being your mommy.'

Another blurry snap saw her cuddling with Jack. The doting mom also shared a photo of him wearing cute mismatched socks. She also re-shared a post from her brand Rhode, featuring a carousel of images of her and Jack. Among the tender uploads was a close-up of Hailey's foot resting next to her baby boy, showing off a delicate gold anklet spelling out his name. There was also a candid bare-face snap of her cuddling up to Jack.

Another image showed the little one with green stickers on his fingers. Little Jack also snacked on a sprinkle donut in another cute photo. The post also included a photo of Hailey holding Jack during Justin's rehearsal at Coachella this year. The sweet tribute was captioned, 'jack's mom'.

Hailey and Justin welcomed their son in August 2024. Last year, Justin sparked outrage over a concerning outburst about Mother's Day, despite it being Hailey's first time celebrating as a new mom. The Canadian star left fans perturbed and confused with a note on Instagram which read: 'Love u moms but mothers day sucks a**.' The post, which was then deleted, was swiftly criticized, with users shocked that he could be referring to his wife.

'Justin Bieber posting "mother's day sucks a**" as his wife celebrates her first one is so… vile to me,' one shocked user wrote on X. 'Man is going through something to be externalizing all of this. Not excusing his behavior but man the cruelty he is showing his wife is so sad,' someone else added.

While some were convinced his bizarre note was a slight towards Hailey, others pointed out it could have been directed at his own mother. 'Justin has a complicated relationship with Mother's Day as do a lot of people. He loves Hailey — that wasn't directed towards her,' a user insisted. 'It has nothing to do with his wife, Mother's Day is very triggering to those who grew up with narcissistic parental figures.'

Another added: 'Mother's Day has become a burden to those with childhood trauma. Leave these people alone and let them live in peace.' Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, was fundamental to her son's early success, accompanying him on his first trip to Atlanta and uploading videos of his singing to YouTube. Despite the speculation, Bieber shared a series of photos of himself and his mother online to celebrate Mother's Day last year. He also posted a snap of Hailey kissing their son Jack's foot.

The couple tied the knot in September 2018, just a few months after the Grammy winner had broken up with his on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez.
