Kerry Katona has shared some crucial advice with Coleen Nolan as the Loose Women star prepares for her appearance on Celebs Go Dating. The reality dating show is back for a new series, and a fresh set of celebrities are hoping to find love, just as Kerry did last year when she met fitness influencer Paolo.
In an exclusive revelation, Kerry disclosed that she reached out to Coleen after watching her on the show, and Coleen confessed that she had only signed up because of Kerry's success story. Writing in her new magazine column, Kerry said: "It was so lovely because I text Coleen and said, oh my God, watching you, you look sensational, you look absolutely beautiful. And she was like, the only reason why I did it is because of what you got out of it, which was so nice and sweet to hear."
Kerry's Love Story with Paolo
Reflecting on her own romance, Kerry expressed her gratitude for finding Paolo on the show. "I really truly feel like I completely lucked out with Paolo. He is everything and more. I fall in love with the man more and more every single day. He's just an amazing human being - and it's pure luck that I met him on a reality show."
She added: "How our paths haven't crossed before, I will never know, because there's so much we have in common, so many places we've been. I feel very blessed, very grateful, and very fortunate. And we actually do make an appearance on this series so keep a lookout!"
Tattoo Tribute to Paolo
Kerry also opened up about a special tattoo she got in honour of their first anniversary. The couple had planned to attend Chester Races together, but Paolo fell ill, so Kerry went alone and got inked. "I got a tattoo as an anniversary present to Paolo. It says ti amo, which is I love you in Italian. It's a commitment for life, isn't it? And I love tattoos. I love my tattoos telling a story. I've always wanted a red tattoo," she said.
"I thought it was a nice little nod to our first year anniversary. We were meant to be going to Chester Races together but Paolo isn't very well. He's so poorly, bless him!"
Future Reality TV Plans
While Kerry is making a brief return to Celebs Go Dating, she has her sights set on more reality television. "I'd love to do Strictly; I say every year, yes. Every year I get told no. I've always been more of a dancer anyway. Dance has always been my forte. I'd love to. I think it's the only show I haven't done," she said.
She also expressed interest in The Celebrity Traitors, especially with Miranda Hart joining the line-up. "The Celebrity Traitors line-up has been released and Miranda Hart, wow! I'd love to do that show too - it's my favourite show, absolutely love watching it!"
