Birmingham Pride 2026 is set to take place over the Bank Holiday weekend, with two days of pride celebrations on Saturday, 23 May and Sunday, 24 May. Keeping with the city centre tradition, the festivities will kick off with a parade through Birmingham's streets, where tens of thousands of supporters can unite in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
The procession will wind its way through the city centre, heading towards Hippodrome Square, where a host of parties and performances are lined up. This year, ticket prices have been reduced compared to 2025, and we'll cover all of that, along with everything else you need to know, further below.
Birmingham Pride 2026 Parade Route and Times
This year's Birmingham Pride Parade will follow a slightly altered route due to significant public realm construction works currently underway on New Street. The event gets under way at 11am at Victoria Square, with attendees gathering ahead of the parade's official start at midday. Rather than travelling the full length of New Street, the route will divert along Stephenson Street and Stephenson Place. An estimated 75,000 revellers are expected to turn out.
Birmingham Pride 2026 Performers
If you're planning to stay for the official Birmingham Pride celebration, bear in mind that this portion of the weekend requires tickets, with stages set up and celebrities arriving to perform in the area. On Saturday, the artists line-up includes: Katy B, Sigala, Danny Beard, a DJ set from the House Gospel Choir, Lynks, Booty Luv, Sweet Female Attitude, LLEO, Nansee and Call Me Unique. Then on Sunday, expect Girls Aloud's own Nadine, Bjorn Again, Boney M, Amelle, Kelly Llorenna, Black Peppa and Nxdia. Meanwhile in the dance arena expect sets from Jaguar, Big Ang and Arthi and loads of brilliant cabaret performers on the Conrad Guest Cabaret Stage.
Birmingham Pride 2026 Tickets and Costs
Ticket prices for Birmingham Pride are lower in 2026. Weekend passes for the annual celebration, which marks its 30th anniversary in 2027, are priced at £46.87 this year. That represents a reduction from the £73.70 they cost in 2025. If you fancy attending, tickets can be purchased on the official Pride website. Information about subsidised tickets for those on lower incomes is also available.
