Allison Mack and Former Neo-Nazi Husband Frank Meeink Photographed on Sunset Stroll

Disgraced actress Allison Mack has been pictured for the first time with her husband Frank Meeink, a former neo-Nazi, five months after their intimate backyard wedding in Los Angeles. The couple, both with criminal pasts that led to three-year prison sentences, were spotted enjoying a sunset walk with their two dogs in Long Beach, California, last week.

From Cult Leader to Convict: Mack's Troubled Past

German-born Mack, 43, rose to fame as Chloe Sullivan on the television series Smallville but later became a leading member of NXIVM, a sex-trafficking cult based in upstate New York. She pleaded guilty to racketeering and conspiracy charges, serving 21 months of a three-year sentence before her release in July 2023. Her testimony against cult leader Keith Raniere contributed to his 120-year prison term.

On the Allison After NXIVM podcast, Mack revealed she met Meeink in February 2024 while walking her dog. He invited her to a Thai restaurant where he worked as a waiter, and she visited with her mother. Mack described him as "an attractive, heavily tattooed guy in his late 40s with slick back hair."

Meeink's Transformation from Neo-Nazi to Activist

Frank Meeink, 49, was convicted nearly 30 years ago for kidnapping a man at gunpoint as a 17-year-old member of a skinhead group. During his incarceration in Illinois, he formed friendships with black inmates and renounced his racist beliefs. Since his release, he has dedicated himself to public speaking, civil rights activism, and working with unhoused people through a nonprofit.

Meeink told the podcast host Natalie Robehmed, "From the work that I've done with former jihadists, former gangbangers, former neo-Nazis, I mean, I've worked in that world for a long time; I think people don't understand what it's like when you get stuck in something like that. It's the one thing that validates you. It's hard to get out."

A Marriage Built on Mutual Understanding

The couple's relationship appears grounded in acceptance of their troubled histories. Mack disclosed that she shared "everything" about her time in NXIVM after their first date, to which Meeink responded, "I'm a former neo-Nazi who used to kidnap people. Do you think I have any room to judge you? No, I don't judge you at all."

During their park stroll, they walked hand-in-hand while Meeink held the leashes for their American pit bull terrier and Maltese. Mack wore casual attire, including a white crewneck sweatshirt from singer Gracie Abrams' merchandise line, grey sweatpants, and UGG slippers. Meeink sported a long-sleeved blue shirt, salmon-colored pants, burgundy Nike slippers, and a black crossbody bag.

Previous Marriage and NXIVM Connections

Mack was previously married to Canadian actress Nicki Clyne from 2017 to 2020, both of whom were NXIVM members. Witness India Oxenburg claimed that union was orchestrated by Raniere to help Clyne remain in the United States. Mack admitted on the podcast that she leveraged her Smallville celebrity within NXIVM, calling it "a power tool that I had to get people to do what I wanted" and "very effective in moving Keith's vision forward."

Authorities arrested Mack in April 2018 for recruiting women into NXIVM's secret subgroup Dominus Obsequious Sororium, which was presented as a female empowerment organization but actually trafficked women for Raniere. Members were often branded with his initials, KR.

Despite being described as Raniere's second-in-command, Mack cooperated with prosecutors, avoiding a potential life sentence for sex trafficking and forced labor conspiracy charges. Meeink has also engaged in activism, speaking to a House subcommittee in 2020 about white supremacy in policing.
