Bradley Walsh left his son Barney red-faced on Friday's episode of their hit ITV show Breaking Dad after a huge driving blunder. The 65-year-old presenter and his 28-year-old son are currently exploring Australia in the seventh series of the beloved programme.
Horse Track Confusion
In an exclusive clip obtained by the Mirror, Bradley drives their RV onto a horse race track during a harness race, forcing competitors to overtake the vehicle. A panicked Barney exclaims, "Where are you going?" to which Bradley sarcastically replies, "What do you mean where am I going? What's it look like I'm going?"
Barney points out, "I don't think we're supposed to be on this bit. I think we're on the racetrack right now." A confused Bradley responds, "Eh? Well it said all vehicles this way," but Barney retorts, "You've driven onto the track in an RV."
Horses Overtake the RV
As the horses approach and begin overtaking the vehicle, a race commentator remarks, "Is that an RV on the course? I've never seen this before in my life!" Seeing the funny side, Bradley jokes in his own commentary, "And they're coming up on the outside," leaving Barney mortified: "No, are you joking? Oh this is so embarrassing!"
Bradley adds, "Look at that. Beautiful horses. You know who would love this? Your granddad would love this," before pretending to whip the RV and saying, "Don't worry about that. I'll catch them in this mate. Come on Bradders!"
Friday's Episode Preview
The synopsis for Friday's episode teases: "The boys have arrived in Brisbane and have swapped the RV for electric scooters as they explore the city. The pair head to the local racetrack, where they go head-to-head in a sport known to the locals as 'the trots'. They end the day with a group of people who gather every week to immerse themselves in medieval, fantasy roleplay. The next day Bradley and Barney hit the road and head to the city of Rockhampton, where they meet a man who went viral thanks to a very unexpected talent. Barney then has an adrenaline fuelled treat in store for his dad as he's arranged for him to get behind the wheel of something slightly bigger than the RV..."
