Married At First Sight Australia star Scott McCristal has covered up his matching '13' tattoo with his ex-wife Gia Fleur, replacing it with an eagle. The couple, who appeared on the 2026 series, got the tattoos to mark their one-month wedding anniversary.
In a TikTok video, Scott explained the new design: 'This eagle represents something for me. I got it for freedom, living life on my own terms and not being controlled.' He added, 'Sometimes we all make mistakes.'
Scott and Gia were considered a strong couple initially, but their relationship deteriorated after Feedback Week. Gia's involvement in drama and fiery temper caused tension, and Scott struggled to voice concerns. Although Gia confessed her love, Scott did not reciprocate, and they split before Final Vows.
