Yeo Valley Organic Brings Spring Meadow to Canary Wharf
Spring Meadow Blooms in Canary Wharf Concrete Jungle

Yeo Valley Organic has transformed Canary Wharf with a mini meadow pop-up this morning, featuring genuine Somerset pasture, offering a seasonal taste of spring. The installation opened as new research revealed that 75% of Brits feel mentally lighter thanks to the arrival of spring.

Green Spaces Boost Mood

The study found that 65% of people say spending time in green space improves their mood within just 15 minutes, while 26% report an instantaneous effect. Despite feeling happier and more energised in spring and summer, 37% say they lack access to green spaces during the working week. A staggering 77% believe more green spaces in cities would help alleviate stress levels.

Bringing the Countryside to the City

To bridge the gap, Yeo Valley Organic brought the mini meadow to London, where visitors can relax in the grass and enjoy free-range organic milk. Verity Richardson from Yeo Valley Organic said: “Spring is when everything comes back to life on the farm. Our cows are out grazing on lush, organic pastures, full of natural diversity. By bringing a little piece of the Yeo Valley Organic founding farm from Somerset to the middle of London, we’re helping people reconnect with where their food comes from and experience just how good milk can taste when it’s produced in harmony with the seasons.”
