Strictly's Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg's Emotional Baby Update

Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell and her partner, YouTube star Joe Sugg, have posted an emotional goodbye to their fans as they prepare to welcome their first child, marking the end of an era for their popular vlogging series.

An Emotional Farewell to Vlogmas

In the final instalment of their annual 'Vlogmas' series on YouTube, the couple reflected on their journey together. Joe Sugg told viewers that this Christmas tradition, which they have maintained for two or three consecutive years, was coming to a poignant close. He expressed deep gratitude to their audience for following their festive preparations.

"That, is it. The end of the vlog and the end of Vlogmas," Joe said. "I just want to say thank you very much to everybody that has watched these vlogs... It's always an absolute joy to do." He emphasised how special it was to create memories around the holiday season.

Looking Ahead to a "Different Year" as a Family of Three

The vlog took a heartfelt turn as Joe hinted at the life-changing event on the horizon for 2026. He predicted the coming year would be "quite a different year to our normal years" before delivering the significant update.

"This is the end of the last Vlogmas that we'll ever do as a two. This time next year there will be three of us," he revealed, confirming their imminent transition to parenthood. The couple had first announced they were expecting a baby boy in September, sharing a creative painting reveal on Instagram set to Sir Elton John's Tiny Dancer.

Overwhelming Support from the Strictly Family and Fans

The pregnancy news prompted a flood of congratulations from their famous friends and colleagues. Key figures from the Strictly Come Dancing world, including judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse, and professional dancer Johannes Radebe, sent their warm wishes.

Fellow dancer Amy Dowden exclaimed she was "still screaming, dancing and celebrating!" and signed off as "Auntie Ames." Documentary-maker Stacey Dooley, who also found love on the show, responded with an enthusiastic string of "YES" messages.

Fans on YouTube echoed this support, with one commenting on the joy of watching the couple "preparing your little boy's room and sharing your own memories of childhood." Another thanked them for the Vlogmas series and sent "best wishes for Christmas and the new year."

Buswell and Sugg first met when paired on the 16th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. Buswell most recently competed in the 2024 series, having won the Glitterball Trophy in 2023 with the show's first blind winner, comedian Chris McCausland.
