Maya Jama's Tattoo Takes on New Meaning After Ruben Dias Split

Maya Jama has been seen showing off her Arabic tattoo, which reads 'Love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching,' following her split from Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias. The Love Island host, 31, first revealed the inking in March, but it has gained new significance after the couple ended their 18-month relationship a few weeks ago.

Dias, 29, has faced allegations of 'toe-dipping' during the relationship, with reports that he followed and unfollowed models and social media influencers late at night. An insider told The Sun that while there is no suggestion of cheating, the behaviour 'will raise eyebrows'.

Maya displayed the tattoo while posing for Agent Provocateur's Swim 2026 campaign in a tiny blue bikini and later in a brown-and-white polka-dot bikini. She has been focusing on work, having filmed Celebrity Traitors and recently jetting to Majorca for Love Island.

The couple first met at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester in late 2024. A source revealed they had come to a 'crossroads' due to their intense careers, with Maya heading into filming and Dias focusing on the World Cup.
