"Harvey loves me doing anything with him, especially making cakes," she explained to the camera. The mother-son duo carefully mixed ingredients before Katie placed the cake in the oven at their swanky converted barn near Horsham.
Katie noted that while she had used a packet mix this time, Harvey usually enjoys the full process of combining flour, butter, and sugar. Once baked, they decorated the cake together with Betty Crocker icing, with Harvey proudly holding up the finished product for a photo.

"He should be moving at the end of this month, it's going to be 15 minutes away. I can't wait," Katie said. She is personally kitting out his new home, having already purchased a green Smeg kettle and toaster, new plates, a sofa, and a bed, aiming to create a "home from home" for him.
Harvey lives with a complex set of conditions, including Prader-Willi syndrome—a genetic disorder causing a constant feeling of hunger—as well as autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder. His move to a specialist independent living facility represents a major and carefully managed step forward for his care and personal development.
